To reunion or not
There is probably no better way to catch up with relatives, strengthen
the bonds with all the branches of your family and have lots of fun,
than to have a family reunion.
But there is a lot of decision-making, organization and work that goes into it.
The first thing is to see if the people in your family want to get together for
a reunion. You may want to poll members of your family to determine interest.
You can try to do this by phone, by mailing or even e-mailing a survey to relatives.
When you do the survey, here are some of the questions you want to ask: |
|
Things to consider:
- Would you be interested in attending a family reunion?
- What month would be best for you to attend?
- How many people in your family would attend?
- What states or cities would you travel to for a reunion?
- What types of activities would you and your family be interested in?
- Are you willing to volunteer with organizing the reunion?
- Do you have any special talents to contribute to the event?
